Hi, Try changing the recipe and the way you cook. By now you must be knowing her taste whether she has liking for sweet food or salty, so make the preparations based on her taste. Try to keep her engaged when you are feeding her. You can play a game while feeding her. Like, give her one bite and tell her to hide, and tell her that when you will find him she will have to take next bite. I know it will be taxing for you, but just to inculcate her interest in eating you can begin by making eating fun. Later when she starts eating you can stop this.
yes, she is definitely underweight. the problem at this age is that kids become very independent and want to always play and move around, and eating becomes a chore. try changing the recipes and using the same ingredients in different ways. you can also involve your little one in cooking games and feed while playing. also, i sometimes take my younger one to the garden and feed her while she chases butterflies and birds. it's not recommended all the time, but it's better than your child not eating.
Hello, I guess you can play videos, preferably videos where children are eating. I know developing this habit of showing videos should not be encouraged but you can adopt it for a while. Otherwise you can make her eat with other kids if any in the family. Children eat in each other's company. Also, make her have meals with you on the table. Let her serve for herself. Children also eat nicely if everyone in the home is eating and the whole attention is not on them.
yes her weight is low, but maybe you can try distracting her while she eats. you can also let her eat on her own sometimes, as it could encourage her to try and eat. give her some variation in taste to see if that helps
thanks
