Pregnant through IVF

Congratulations on your pregnancy 🎉 Yes it's too early now. I was doubtful too about when to start buying things. Sometimes the sales were tempting. But later I realised that almost every month there's sales (1.1, 2.2, 3.3 and so on in addition to the festival sales) So the price difference wasn't much. I'm currently week 35 and I only started buying baby clothes n stuff online last week. Also ordered for baby cot and beddings but to be delivered later. I have samples for diapers, baby wipes, diaper changing mat, feeding bottles etc. So whichever the baby is comfortable with I'll buy accordingly. Even stroller and carrier I'm thinking of trying with the baby as those are expensive and would be a waste if baby don't like it 😀 My MIL and mum are both superstitious and I don't want to hurt their sentiments either. But the main reason for me not buying things in advance is what I mentioned earlier. Not much difference in price and also don't want cramp the place.

Get it that you're excited for your baby. Congratulations on your pregnancy ☺️ But yes, it's too early. My mum always reminds me to only buy baby's stuff when I'm 7-8 mths pregnant. I'm not superstitious at all but I know what she meant cos anything can happen even at the last stage of pregnancy. I have a close friend who conceived through IVF too. She bought her baby's stuff early but sadly her baby passed away when she was 5 mths pregnant. This time, I bought some stuff while I was 6 mths pregnant cos due to painful pelvic pain, I can't walk alot and I get very tired easily. Now I'm 3 weeks post partum and still buying baby's stuff that I didn't buy when I was pregnant.

I started buying early because of sales lol. Coming to the final lap of my pregnancy now, and I am regretting just a little. Cause you see alot more stuff whenever you go out. Guess it is better to KIV first and buy only when you are in your third? Unless the sales is too good to miss haha

I’m not a superstitious person but I wait until Trimester 2 then buy. I wouldn’t buy it at trimester 3 as you be too big to go shopping and also who knows you may end up delivering early or you need to bed rest. I don’t really like last minute stuffs .

Congrats! i started buying little2 in mid 2nd trim due to promotions and more stuffs bit by bit. im an ivf mommy too. just think happy thoughts, enjoy the journey and focus on urself and baby. dont think too much. all the best dear!

Congratulation!! Ya, too early. Suggest to start buying in late 2nd trimester or early 3rd trimester. For now, just stay positive, a happy mama, a healthy baby. Take care and God bless you!

if you want to be safe there's a saying that you cannot buy baby stuff too early. best to purchase after 6 months preggy

congrats .gender at this stage might not be that accurate. my advice is to wait till u pass 3 month to stablise
