Pregnant through IVF

hi currently 8 weeks and mine is ivf baby so i know the gender plus know in early stages when i am pregnant. Have already done a lot research on bb stuff since I failed few times. I am quite anxious to want get bb stuff. Is it too early coz i heard need let it stabilize to avoid inauspicious events? Thanks

Get it that you're excited for your baby. Congratulations on your pregnancy ☺️ But yes, it's too early. My mum always reminds me to only buy baby's stuff when I'm 7-8 mths pregnant. I'm not superstitious at all but I know what she meant cos anything can happen even at the last stage of pregnancy. I have a close friend who conceived through IVF too. She bought her baby's stuff early but sadly her baby passed away when she was 5 mths pregnant. This time, I bought some stuff while I was 6 mths pregnant cos due to painful pelvic pain, I can't walk alot and I get very tired easily. Now I'm 3 weeks post partum and still buying baby's stuff that I didn't buy when I was pregnant.
