Do childcare Ts raise their voice and scold playgroup toddlers when they do something wrong ? my experience after 2 days with my 18mo at school was that the kids get scolded pretty often e.g. if they don't eat after being persuaded, if they run near dining area, if they don't sit in a chair while waiting for their turn to bath...) thought of withdrawing him but N.Y. child was ok and was engaged when T was teaching did not cry even when I m not there. Every time i visit there s always someone getting scolded. Advice from mummies appreciated..esp if u r a cc T..is this normal?

i won't say raise their voice. I do come across some cc Ts being strict. I am ok with that unless the kids seem very disturbed by it. In fact, they listen to the teachers MORE then they listen to us parents back at home.

to correct is the right phrase for it. not scold or raise their voice. but to be firm and correct the kids.
