My Bhabhi conceived after 6 years of marriage after great difficulty. Unfortunately she delivered a stillborn. She is now devastated and refuses to talk to anyone about it. She also blames herself for this.It has been 5 months now. I love her very much and am out of ways to help her through this time.

Why don't you plan a holiday with her. Take her out on a trip. A new environment and place would keep her thoughts off from what has gone by. Take her around the new place, but at the same time do not go overboard, acknowledge her pain. Let her do the talking once she feels like talking. Your bhabhi seeks immense emotional support now as she is shattered. You can simply be around and try to take her out of her home and keep her distracted. Strictly forbid anyone from talking about her loss again and again. Your brother is her biggest support at this moment though I can understand that he also has undergone a major loss. If she is too depressed then please take her to a counselor without further delay.

That's really tough for any woman. Let her cry and grieve, just be with her. Words generally don't console such sorrow. Be there as a silent support. Cook healthy meals for her. Don't leave her alone for a long time. Take her out. http://stillbirthfoundation.org.au/family-and-friends/#toggle-id-2
