My younger daughter didn't speak till she turned 3 years old and is very talkative now. The paediatrician referred her to KK as she was worried she may be an autistic child. She didn't talk during the initial few appointments with KK. She suddenly talked, wrote and drew in her later appointment. Quote from the doctor 'who said she is autistic, she is a gifted child indeed'. By the way, every child is different, some start earlier some later. You may want to consult a Paediatrician or ask for a referral to KK from the MO in polyclinic.
My baby is 14 months. Except for mama and sometimes randomly saying things… he still use baby language more…if concern can check with the pd?
keep talking to baby. read to him, talk about your surroundings, what you're doing etc
