Speech delay

My baby is almost  12 months.I feel he is talking less..  He liked to play alone and does not show interest  in the conversation s. Is this normal ? How many words does baby should talk by 1 year?

My baby is 14 months. Except for mama and sometimes randomly saying things… he still use baby language more…if concern can check with the pd?

My younger daughter didnt speak till she turned 3 years old and is very talkative now. The paediatrician referred her to KK as she was worried she may be an autistic child. She didnt talk during the initial few appointments with KK. She suddenly talked, wrote and drew in her later appointment. Quote from the doctor who said she is autistic, she is a gifted child indeed. By the way, every child is different, some start earlier some later.  You may want to consult a Paediatrician or ask for a referral to KK from the MO in polyclinic.
