Hi. Ask ko lang po kung sino dito tumaas ang thyroid hormone while pregnant. Tumaas po kasi thyroid hormone ko nakita sa OGTT. Pano kaya mababalik sa normal yun. Worried po ako.

Me. Mataas ang TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) ko and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism nung 1st trimester. Nadetect sya when my OB ordered a TSH test, along with other normal lab test for preggy during my 1st trimester. I was referred to an endocrinologist to manage it kasi masama ang mataas ang thyroid hormones when pregnant. Till now I'm still taking meds for it - thyroid hormone replacement na tablet and every month chinecheck ang thyroid levels ko through blood test.

2nd time preggy

Actually po nagpaTSH test na po ako before kaso nung 2011 pa yun and normal naman po lahat ng test ko. NagpaMRI nga din ako kasi meron din tinatawag na thyroid affecting the eyes. Pero normal naman lahat tsaka sa first born ko normal din. Kaya nagulat ako na tumaas ang tsh ko ngayon sa 2nd pregnancy. Kaya din repeat test ako to make sure then kapag mataas pa din result tsaka namin pag usapan ng OB ang next steps. Thank you sis napakalaking tulong ng information mo. God bless.
