Saying sorry to kids

Do you apologise to your kids after shouting at them or got impatient with them? Or anything else? How do you go about it?

Depends. I will apologies if my anger is affected by my mood. Otherwise I will explain to my child why im upset with her.

Yes I think that's necessary so in future they will learn to put down their ego and apologise for mistakes made.

Yea, and explain our action of scolding at them. That is if the kid is >3yrs old where theh start to understand

I do say sorry. And give them hugs and kisses after I lose my temper and scolded them. Kinda like truce...

i do say sorry..explain to them why...when both cool down...i do it bedtime

That's nice, to do it before bed. And I agree that we should resolve any of these emotions, and never go to bed angry.

Yes I do apologise , explain to my daughter the reason behind my anger etc

Yes we do. Then we explain to her how we felt and what to do next time
