USAPANG VAGINAL ODOR (CAUSES AND TIPS)

Im pretty sure marami sa mga nanay dito o kahit hindi pa nanay ang nakaranas o currently suffering from Vaginal odor. Ako mismo nakaranas din nito. Kahit noong dalaga pa ako (active or non-active sex life). Lagi akong nagtataka kung bakit meron akong vaginal odor kahit palagi naman akong naghuhugas at malinis naman ako sa katawan. Nagpapalit palit nako ng brand ng femwash, kahit medyo mahal binili ko but they only provide temporary good results. Nasubukan ko na rin magpa consult sa OBgyne and she said i have Bacterial Vaginosis, niresetahan ako ng gamot but still, bumabalik pa rin si VO. Nakakahiya, nakakaconcious, nakakairita at nakakababa ng self confidence ang pagkakaroon ng VO. Recently i did my own research because i desperately needed a solution. Here are the common causes of BV or VO: 1. Madalas na paghuhugas gamit ang kahit na anong uri ng sabon/femwash 2. Paninigarilyo 3. Pagbubuntis 4. Multiple sex partners 5. Intake of strong antibiotics Binalikan ko lahat ng mga ginagawa ko na pasok sa causes na yan. Number 1 and 2 hit me. Im a smoker nung dalaga pa ako and as I've mentioned, madalas akong gumamit ng mga kung ano anong product for my vaginal hygiene. Nabasa ko rin na ang madalas na paghuhugas ay nakakatanggal ng hindi lamang bad bacteria, pati good bacteria tinatanggal nya rin kaya nagkakaroon ng imbalance causing bad bacteria to grow more and resulting to VO afterwards. And to avoid this, here are 3 TIPS BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE: 1. Replace the lost good bacteria by eating foods/drinks with lactobacillus (like yogurt, etc) what i did was drink YAKULT 2x a day for the first 2 week. pwede nyo nang gawing 3x a week afterwards. 2. Stop using femwash during regular days, tubig lang ang ipanghugas (wag hugasan ang loob ng butas, kaya nyang mag self-cleaning). Gumamit lang ng femwash during periods and before & after sex with your partner. 3. Use 100% cotton underwear, need din makahinga ng alaga natin 😂 Yes, tatlo lang yan. And it worked on me like a miracle. I feel so stupid kasi nagawa ko na yan nung buntis ako without realizing it, kaya pala mabango kepyas ko that time dahil dyan 😂 bumalik lang VO ko 3mos after kong manganak, and thankfully mabango na ulit ngayon 😁. Remind ko lang po ulit, this is based on my own experience. Yes, i self-medicated without using any harmful products. And walang masama kung susubukan nyo 😊. Baby food (rice porridge)

Hi mga momsh! Gusto ko lang i-share yung natutunan kong recipe ng rice porridge for my 7-month old baby. Last time nag ask ako ng baby food ideas kasi naubusan na talaga ako ng idea. And kaka search ko, eto ang nakita ko. My baby is currently taking 2 medicines per day for his hypothyroidism kaya instead of giving vitamins, i decided to make him eat nutritious foods. PUMPKIN-MORINGA RICE PORRIDGE 1. Hugasan at ibabad ng isang kutsarang bigas sa tubig for at least 20mins. 2. Cut pumpkin/squash into small cubes (1 handfull) 3. Hugasan ang malunggay leaves (at least half of a stem) 4. Igisa sa unsalted butter ang minced garlic, binabad na bigas (drain water first), kalabasa at malunggay. Igisa at haluin for at least 30 secs. 5. Put one cup of water (low heat) 6. Put a pinch of turmeric and dried Basil powder. (mabibili to sa mga grocery stores or market for as low as 20 pesos each, optional ang dried basil, gusto ko lang syang iintroduce sa mga spices one at a time). 7. Takpan. Stir occasionally. 8. Pag patuyo na ang tubig at malambot na ang kanin at kalabasa, i-off na ang stove at i-mash gamit ang potato masher (leave some food texture para may manguya si baby) kung tingin nyo ay hilaw pa, pwede nyo pong dagdagan ng tubig at ipagpatuloy ang pagluto. 9. Best served with sliced fruits. SOME VEGGIE COMBOS THAT I'VE MADE: broccoli - carrot- moringa Munggo-moringa (hugasan at ibabad muna ang munggo sa tubig overnight bago lutuin) Carrot-potato Corn-carrot-moringa Cauliflower-carrot-moringa Marami pa pong combination na pwedeng gawin, nasa sa inyo na lang po kung ano ang gusto nyo at kung ano ang available near you. And yes, i always put a bit of malunggay because it's nutritious. Pero pag walang mabilhan, okay lang din. This serving is good for my baby's lunch and dinner. Pinapalitan ko lang yung fruits nya, he loves eating fruits. I serve him a different meal for breakfast. Have a good day mga ka-momsh!
