Baby growing 4 weeks behind

I’m 10weeks pregnant based on my LMP, but my OB said that my baby only measured 6 weeks and does not have a fetal heartbeat. Will be going back for another scan in 2 weeks’ time. Anyone with similar experience? Care to share? Thanks!

6 weeks might be too early to detect a heartbeat. Do keep a positive mindset!

Can’t decide if I should have another child after bad postpartum depression

My husband and I always wanted 2 kids but I had pretty bad unexpected postpartum depression (and anxiety) quite immediately after birth 1.5 years ago. With clinical help, good family support and going back to work, I think I’m 80-90% recovered. Even though I try to convince myself that things may be better this time round , I can’t bear the thought of going through this process again. However, the one thing that really bothers me and creeps me out from time to time is whether or not I should have another child. The main reason is because i‘m worried that my baby will be lonely and my anxiety brings me fear that she will be without support when we pass on. I know ultimately this will be a decision that my husband I have to make and agree on. But it will really help me if I can hear from all of you. Thank you P.s. Please please please do seek help if you suspect you/your loved one has ppd/ppa.

Hi Moms, How long you tried for pregnancy before actually getting a positive result? Any tips you would like to share?

I got positive after 3 months of trying. i would only suggest to stay active and happy.

Does Pregnancy symptoms vary from each Pregnancy?

Trying for a 🌈baby Now after my miscarriage of twins in September last year! Apart from missed periods what are the other symptoms?

I had a miscarriage on May 2019. My first symptom is sore breasts. Like really painful to the touch and then I missed my period. Do wait at least 10 days after your missed period to check. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant. I remember I checked every 3, 5 and 7 days after I've missed my period. Probably my hcg wasn't high enough yet to detect at that time. 2 weeks after I've missed my period, I tested 3 test kits then once I saw that they are positive, I immediately book a doctor's appointment to confirm again and to start on folic acid. 2 weeks after that then my morning sickness starts. Dear all, I'm currently at my 2nd month of pregnancy and went for my first prenatal checkUp and scan in TMC which was reasonble price.. I'm currently Ltvp of my PR husband and we are thinking to decide whether I will go back to my country to deliver or if the travel restriction still on going will deliver here in Sg. Can any one please enlighten me to which gov't hospital charge cheaper and can use my husband's medisave to cover partially the bills? What steps should I need to do to go for this public hospital to get subsidized fees. Thanks in advance..🙏

Go to polyclinic and inform that you are pregnant and they will refer you to either KKH or SGH. Referral by poly will get subsidised rate but if you registeryourself at the hospital will be considered as private rate. Not sure if you are able to use Husband medisave though. You can talk to the hospital with regards to any financial concern if I'm not wrong.

Hyfosy Appointment

I am waiting for Hyfosy appointment at KKH. Last month couldn’t get one as there’s no vacancy. Hope to get this month so we would proceed with the fertility consultation. #anxious How’s anyone experience?

I was terrified actually and very anxious before the procedure but I knew I had to go through it. They asked me to lie down and as I stared at the ceiling lights, I try to calm myself down by deep breathing. I also told them that I was feeling anxious and they were very nice which helped to calm me down. I think they will insert the speculum before inserting the tube with the balloon and dye... so it feels like a pap smear checkup. Something I hate as well but you just have to try and relax. The balloon will rupture inside your uterus to release the dye. I think you might feel slight cramps here but for me it was bearable. The painful part for me was when they did the vaginal scan and the sonographer kept pressing hard inside of me to “see more clearly”. I made some sounds to show discomfort and she kept apologising and told me to hang on cos she needs to see the tubes properly and that my uterus is “quite high”. But pain is still bearable. There’s some spotting after the procedure but I don’t feel any pain immediately after. To me, it was more terrifying in the mind rather than the actual thing. So if you’re feeling anxious, just remember it’s not as bad as you think it is. Good luck in booking your appointment!

Fertility test at KKH

Hi, My hubby done the SA two weeks ago. How do we get the results? Or is it only review by doctor? We haven’t got our second doc appointment as I have not done hyfosy.
