Relatives who smoke

Hi mommies, how do you tell relatives who smoke not to carry or touch your newborn? That includes my FIL, BILs and SIL. I don't think just washing their hands help, there will be nicotine/smoke residue on their clothes which may pass to baby if they carry the baby. Family peace vs baby health

Is it ok to heat up baby porridge from fridge(few days) /freezer?

Baby is 7 months old and doesn’t eat so much in one go. I’ve been freezing the extra or put in the fridge for max 4 days roughly based on google. Is it ok..? I read some ppl saying not so good..

Help mommies!

My 2-month old baby constantly wants to be held all the time and will cry the moment he is being put down to bed, day and night time. I can’t do simple things like going to toilet or have a meal without others helping me to carry him. Any advice please? When do babies grow out of this or if they will ever if we always pick them up when they cry?#firsttimemom #firstmom #adviceappreciated #adviceplease #help

Baby’s leg peeling skin in circles

Anyone knows whats happening to my baby’s foot? Siddenly got alot of small circular dry skin thats peeling. All in small circles. No water inside or anything. He’s coming to 10 months. Its around his toes, bottom of feet and top of feet(some). Doctor said might be due to recent hfmd rashes drying up, but its getting more. I dont think its from the hfmd rashes cause its gone. We’re currently just putting moisturizer. And i kind of believe now that eh’s crawling fast, it kind of worsen the condition. He doesnt look like in pain, or it doesnt look like a painful blisters.

Failed hearing test

Hi, FTM here. My LO failed newborn hearing screening and unfortunately was found out that he was born with a narrow ear canal. As he is still very young, doc advised to do hearing test with sedation when he’s 4 months old. Subsequently will advise next steps. Has anyone experienced this before and can share your experience? It’s really heartbreaking to me and still trying to accept this.

When did you girls, announce your pregnancy? And how!

Was wondering when & how is the best way to breakdown the news to your loved ones? (ie baby’s grandparents, friends) Also when should I be telling my manager? At this point, only my husband knows. However, would love the support of my own parents too! Also would love to hear how different cultures differ when it comes to early announcement superstitions!

Why does my 4 month baby cries (at times)when I make him to sleep?

But when my hubby n helper does it he’s less fussy.. so whenever I carried him n he’s crying, my hubby will ask me to pass to him or pass to my helper cuz he can’t hear baby cries for long. I felt disappointed with my hubby and upset over this it seems like my baby hates me
