Recommend lactation supplements / drinks / foods etc please!
Hi mommies / daddies! Just a fellow mommy seeking for advice / sharing on breastfeeding and breastmilk :) 🌟 Please recommend some lactation supplements / drinks / foods that have worked for you or your partner in increasing milk supply or milk quality. 🌟 Looking for affordable options to try first BUT name brands / expensive ones (such as 2nutguys / legendairymilk) are also welcomed if they really worked for you! Context: • First 2 weeks of pumping & breastfeeding, milk supply was up to 80ml per side per pump every 2-3 hours. Direct latch at least once or twice a day. Managed to build a freezer stash. • Started postnatal massage on 2 week mark, did mammary glands massage too. • Had almost clogged ducts once on either side, but cleared naturally within a few hours / in a day after pumping and direct latch. • Suddenly now, it reduced to about 40-60ml per side per pump every 2-3 hours. Still direct latch at least once or twice a day. Started to use some milk from freezer stash, but still able to freeze a couple of bags every two days. • Nothing has changed in terms of pump used, pumping levels, food & drink intake, direct latching on etc. Let me know if you’ve experienced a similar situation & how you may have overcome it!
