My baby Kyle is almost 6 months now and below is his bedtime routine since his 2nd month. 1. Give him a soothing warm water bath. 2. Dress him up with a comfortable sleep suit and an overnight diaper. 3. Next, a formula feed (as I am not breastfeeding at this stage) and let him burp after the feed. 4. Have some bonding time with him by playing his favorite hide n' seek game after that. 5. Then, turn down the lights of the room & aircon on. 6. After that, I take him into my lap and rock him singing his favorite lullabies (or somedays I put a soft music on the phone) 7. Give him a gentle masaage while singing lullabies. 8. Finally put him in his baby nest or cot after he sleeps. 👶🏻
My girl is now 17 months old, yes still exclusively breastfeeding.. Bedtime routine is pretty much consistent cause she always needs her beauty sleep haha! 1) Dinner at 7pm 2) Warm bath at 7:45pm with her cute cat towel 3) Brush teeth 4) I will let her choose which PJs she wanna put on to sleep (her most favourite routine) 5) Massage before sleep with baby balms 6) She will take her favourite blanket from Lullabybebestore (yes I love to customised my baby's blanket and bedding from them) ❤️ 7) Bedtime story at 8:30pm with kisses & cuddles and breastfeeding 8) Goodnight 🥰
We welcomed our first child recently, ever since we foster a degree of sleep independence for our baby. Set time rule, avoid late shower. Have a warm bath, change into pyjamas, switch into warm lights and read bedtime stories or turn on white noise. Always end with a kiss on their forehead, saying goodnight. Best practice for baby and parent! 👨🏻👩🏻👶🏻
As i have a 4 months old baby, i will make her sleep around 7plus. once she sleep, i will eat my dinner, have some me time, wash up, then bring her to her cot and lay beside her. I will wake up 2 to 3 times in the night for my 4hourly pump. And also help to change her diapers and feed her 1 to 2 times in the night. And we will both wake up around 7am.
27mths now, the bedtime routine has always be the same. As we know a well established routine lead to an independent sleeper. After changing pyjamas, stay in the bedroom, starting with booking reading and end with the songs. Switching off the light, and leaving the door slight open, she can look for us if she wants and sleep by herself.
Bedtime routine for my 5month old: 1. After bath, apply essential balms/oil for better sleep with some baby massage. change into full body suit romper 2. Go into room, diffuse humidifier and turn on aircon. dim the lights. 3. Read bedtime story tgt with older sister 4. Last milk feed for the night 5. Pat her to sleep 🌟😊
My baby bedtime routine. he normally drink his last milk at 7pm we would bond with him awhile after his milk and tell him some bedtime stories. about 9pm, we would carry him until he's fully asleep then put him to his baby bed. as he's super clingy to us he won't sleep in his bed but instead always want to be carry in our hands.
