My wife retired from work 2 years ago. She mentioned last night that she is getting bored. Can you suggest activities for her that would kill her time? She just turned 50 last April.

Encourage her to engage in different activities. She can try zumba or yoga for her physical wellness. She can also use her time to hone or enhance her skills say in baking or culinary. TESDA has a lot of short-term courses that she can look into. Aside from culinary and baking, they also offer courses honing other skills such as fashion-related courses like dress making and pattern making.

If she's good at speaking English, maybe she can teach foreigners learn it. Or if she has any other expertise, maybe she could teach a class?

Baking cupcakes and other pastries is a good activity for her. She can do it as a part time business also.
