Once again, the pregnancy hormones are the cause of postpartum sweating. Your body is perspiring to get rid of the extra fluids accumulated during pregnancy that was used to nourish your baby. To ease your discomfort, you can try: - Placing a soft towel on your pillow to help absord moisture during night sweats. - Wear loose, lightweight clothing - Ensure good ventilation in the room - Use talc-free powder to help absorb excess moisture
I sweated a lot during confinement too. It is probably due to the confinement food (ginger, confinement wine, sesame oil and etc.) and also hot beverage (e.g. red date tea) you are taking that make you perspire more. What I did was to switch on aircon at 24-25 degree celcius to keep myself cool. If it is unbearable, I will bath with herbs called da feng ai. After bath I always feel very refreshing.
It's part of the post pregnancy hormones. The body is perspiring to expel excess fluid in your body which is called water retention. Its actually good to be sweating more during confinement. I made sure i keep my room cool and ventilated so i will still feel fresh despite sweating so much
