Which do you prefer for you children, private school or state university?

I would go with the school with the best reputation for the specific course my child would want to take. So if, let's say, she'd like to take up fine arts, I'd suggest to her to apply at UST or UP. If she's interested in Economics, then I'd suggest Ateneo or La Salle, and etc. If she wants to take up nursing, I heard FEU is a good university for that. So it's about what the best option is, not necessarily whether it's private or state university. :)
