What do we do with bawling babies ?

I've actually become good at pacifying my crying baby. It's not easy, but well, you wouldn't want them to cry either. It's a trick, it's game. It tells you how much you know your baby maybe. What kinda dad would I be if I can't handle my own baby. But on a serious note, if the baby's too serious of crying and I'm not able to handle, I give it to the higher authority. Her mum knows more tricks then me :)

See if there is a pattern....hunger, nappy discomfort, tummy gas, craving for milk et al. and then try to resolve the issue the child may be facing. If there is no particular reason, then change the environment by taking the child outside for a walk, or put on music or just sing :)

Comfort them. Hush them. It's slightly hard to comfort bawling babies. I would carry them and bounce around a little. and slowly let them calm down.

Stay calm and give baby lots of love. Whatever that works.
