What are the pros and cons of raising bilingual children?

Based on parenting articles I've read. the earlier you teach the child bilingual language, the better as it is easier for them to pick it up. Bilingualism has also been found to enhance a child’s working memory as shown by a research conducted at the University of Granada under the supervision of Ellen Bialystok.
