What are the pros and cons for child's development if their mums are working vs sahm?

In my opinion, the development of your baby depends to whose take care of your child? When you are working, there is huge possiblity your nanny or your parents give your kid something you prohibitted such as candy, chocolate etc. When it happens all the time, your baby will refuse the veggies and other healthy menu. In long term of course it affect their development. If you are stay at home mum, you might control your kids meal. But if you have no helper, you might get exhausted and sometimes being too emotional when your kid get tantrum.

Coming from a family with two working parents, I can honestly say that me and my brothers learnt the best kind of independence. We were initially brought up my maternal grandma but she passed. Back then, helpers were not a common thing and my parents both had to work. So at the ages of 9, 7 and 5 respectively, we became latch key kids and "took care" of ourselves. So that's my takeaway from having a mom who's working -- had to grow up really quick and be independent.
