Multivitamins

What is the best multivitamins for pregnant? I am a first time mum and had my first pre natal check up and the OB just told me to take folic acid. But is there any more vitamins that I should take? Or folic acid is just enough for now?

I’ve been taking Obimin since first trimester cos it was prescribed by the doctor. Currently into third tri and still on it! Supplement it with Fish Oil and doctor said I don’t need to take calcium and iron pills since I’m already on Obimin.

The 1st 12 weeks just only take folic acid. After 12 weeks the gynea will gv you obimin (multivitamin) and calcium. It will take until you labour. You also can take maternity milk too.

I take similac mum, I like the similac mum strawberry yogurt flavor. you can go to online request for the samples, there are so many brands, see which brands you like it.

Listen to ur gynae. He or she will increase what u required slowly... if it is early pregnancy then folic acids and fish oil is good enough

Folic acid at first. Multi vitamins you can start in 2nd tri. Cheaper to get outside than from your gynae, you can get Blackmores pregnancy gold.

First trimester, folic acid is sufficient. Mutli-vitamin will be prescribed by your gynae as you progress

I think multi vits is important too, do check with your gynaecologist or you can get this from the pharmacy
