Personally I feel that the design is much more important than the stone size. The wedding band I chose do not have any diamond. It is a matte silver ring with a unique design.
I'm not someone who likes blings. My wedding ring is matte black and matte silver with no diamond at all (I specifically requested that I do not want diamond. hee).
my wedding band has only 3 small stones... it's more for everyday wear so to me, doesn't really matter. Stone makes it harder to do chores (unless you have a maid)
its just a ring, but i wanted some significance in it & chose to use my late mum's simple gold wedding band. my parents were together till their last breath.

It depends on yourself. To me, having the bling is an extra. What matters is the ongoing relationship with your husband.
My wedding ring doesnt have a stone, and its not an expensive one, its the bond that matters not the ring or the stone.
Don't matter to me. Now that I have kids, I don't even put them on for fear I'll scratch them by accident.
