It’s common for mums to feel protective. I remember watching my baby like a hawk when my aunties carried him around even though logically I have nothing to worry about. It’s a primal instinct I guess! My tip for you is to maintain a smile, let them carry your baby, take the chance to eat something and relax, get through this festive season and that’s it.
i understand how you're feeling. CNY is once a year. How often they have the chance to see, carry, play and so on. Think positive, i believe they are well educated, and know how to handle it. If they cant, and your child cries , you have every right to stop it. Chill Mummy.

I know it can be very frustrating. Maybe recruit your partner in enforcing some ground rules?
I tried to. My folks think that I’m being over protective. Today my aunt did something stupid like showing my baby a video of himself crying.
If you’re concern, keep your child with you and don’t pass to your relatives
When that particular aunt picked up my child, i thought that since she is single, I should grant her some time to spend with a child.
I wore a baby carrier for cny for babies first year :)
Sounds normal. It’s only once a year.
