Fresh Milk or Milk Powder?

Hi, just want to check if is it save to drink Fresh Pasturised Milk during pregnancy? Better to opt for milk powder than fresh milk? Some myth about fresh milk is too 'cooling' even when heated up. Is that true?

Yes, milk is safe as long as pasteurised. I don’t think milk is cooling. But maybe if you’re concerned, don’t drink it direct from fridge. But honestly, I’ve been doing that up till now, week 23 and I’m now drinking ice cold water everyday since 2nd trimester as I can’t take room temperature water - either boiling hot or ice cold - due to the raw taste even if the water has been boiled before.

Shouldn't be an issue to be drinking fresh milk! I'd been crazy over cold Meiji milk and drink 2 glasses a day :)

I tried mom milk but didn't like the taste so I drank freshmilk throughout my pregnancy. Baby growing fine.

Both are good options. Maternal milk is catered for the nutrients needed during pregnancy though.
