My daughter used a baby walker when she was young, toddler to preschool age napansin ko masyado ng clumsy, and i had a feeling may eye problem and might need an eyeglasses, to my surprise ganun pa din siya kahit naka eyeglasses na, kaya napunta kami sa developmental opto, that's were we learned na since nag walker siya yung space perception niya was not developed properly, and yung pagiging clumsy is not because malabo ang mata its because hindi na aassess ng mata niya yung malapit sa knya. She is still undergoing therapy and is using prism corrective glasses that need to be changed every 3 months. She had great improvement after the first time she wore prisms. Kaya NO to walkers. let tgem crawl and walk on their own. 😉
Magbasa paI think with proper care and safety then it is okay to use it. My lo is just 7 months and we started using the walker when he was 5 mos old of course with extra supervision, now he is 7 months and I can say that it helped him.developed his balancing and leg support coz he can pull his body up and stand on his own when he is out of the walker. It is just a matter of how you make sure the baby is safe and secure when using the walker
Magbasa paI think di masama ang term. Not recommended siguro until age 1. Noon we wanted talaga na i-walker si baby pero her pedia said no. Pagdating na ng 1 year tsaka pa lang pwede. We followed her being 1st time parents syempre sila yung expert and di kame nagkamali cause our baby walks on her own when she was 9 months.
Magbasa payes coz it wont help in strengthening the spine of the child which is a crucial part in developing muscles to enable a child to walk. in simple terms, "tatamarin" at magiging dependent lang yung katawan ng bata as walkers hinders the development of necessary parts for walking.
not totally masama pero dangerous. sa anak ko binilhan ko siya ng walker to help him diacover how to walk pero iba ang nadiscover niya. za walker siya natuto umakyat. nalingat lang ako habang pinapakain ko siya, nakaakyat na siya sa table ng walker.
Definitely no for me, pag ready naman ang bata mglakad, hindi naman kailangan mag walker, may mga mommies ako na kilala ko na ng walker ang anak nila at delayed o ng tip toe ung bata. Case to case din po. Based in my experience lang.
Hoping for a child
