Is it too early to start shopping for baby items?

There’s a mummy’s market happening at expo this weekend, would it be too early to start shopping for baby items when I’m only 10 weeks pregnant?

I customised a baby romper in excitement early on. I'm going to do most of the buying late 2nd trimester, early 3rd trimester. Hubs and I waited until bb was more stable, past the 20-week detailed scan.
