For not yet born/below 5kg babies, i personally lebih suka infant carrier yg mcm bakul tu. But then again ikut priority & lifestyle parents sebenarnya. before making a decision, it is best to consider the pros of cons of both. 1. Infant carrier: ➕Pros: senang nk fit most asian babies yg kecik molek, mostly slim, muat in most cars, tak makan space bnyk, portable, senang nk angkat, senang nk pasang (for me), some carriers boleh attach ke stroller so this increases mobility and space saving sbb tak payah bawak stroller gabak (tp kene pastikan anak dikeluarkan dr crs setiap 45min-sejam sekali. Penggunaan crs yg lama dan di luar kenderaan meningkatkan risiko asphyxia dan SIDS) ➖Cons: tak boleh guna lama, max 10-13kg saja (bergantung kepada model dan brand), ramai parents salah pasang ke seat kereta (boleh scroll gambar group ni, mostly yg guna infant carrier memang salah pasang), tak banyak choice yg murah dari reputable brands, and ramai yg opt utk beli yg murah2 from non reputable brands and these brands do not come with user manual which makes it more difficult to troubleshoot on installation and correct usage. 👍🏼Recommended models: - cbx Shima rm399 - Joie Gemm rm480 - Mountain Buggy Infant Capsule RM550 - Maxi Cosi Citi RM600 - Joie i-Gemm rm699 - Graco Snugride with base rm799 - Maxi Cosi Cabriofix rm850 - Chicco Keyfit with base Rm980 ‼️Important note kalau nk beli infant carrier without base: make sure BERLATIH install crs dlm kereta sebelum baby lahir. Convertible : ➕Pros: Boleh guna lama (18/25/36kg) long term investment, sangat banyak choice which meets various amount of budget ➖Cons: susah nk fit baby kecil (anak i 6mo 5kg pun susah nk betul2 fit dlm crs dia yg provide infant insert nala tebal punya), mostly bulky dan berat compared to carriers, susah juga nak dpt recline degree yg sesuai dengan newborn.
