Now 28 weeks, diagnosed with GD nung 25th week. My OB had me consult an Endo. Tapos my endo made me monitor my blood sugar before meals and 2 hr after meals. Sa 2nd hr kasi ako ng OGTT bumagsak. Walang bawal as per my doctor, but EVERYTHING in moderation and the right portion sizes. Hanggang kaya, iwas talaga sa sweets or konting tikim lang. No to boxed juices na rin kaya I just make my own fresh lemonade or fresh calamansi juice with Stevia whenever gusto ko ng fruity drink. I eat 1/2 cup of black rice per meal or 1 pc of whole wheat bread. Iwas rin a deep fried food. Walking also ng 20-30 minutes a day helps lower blood sugar. So far, normal blood na ang blood sugar ko when I did all that. 🙏🏻 I hope it stays that way. Good luck, mommy! Kaya mo yan. 😊
I have po, currently at 26weeks. I was advised to check my blood sugar 4x a day. Diet talaga and healthy food - pakurot kurot na lang ako sa donut/cupcake na before kaya ko umubos ng 1 or 2 pcs a day. Wheat bread instead of white, tapos half cup ng rice nalang during lunch and dinner kapag masarap ang ulam. Minsan nakakaya ko na wheat bread and fruits na lang during dinner. Need po talaga magbawas ng carbs and sugar.
Advice sakin ng OB ang no-rice-and-fruit before 10am kasi daw pag morning yung sugar hindi pa napo-process ng katawan natin so ang tendency ay si baby ang uma-absorb. So before 10am oatmeal lang ang kinakain ko. Tapos less rice at less din sa matatamis na fruit at food. Effective sya kasi malaki ang sukat ng tiyan ko at nagbabadya yung blood sugar ko. After kung ginawa yun for month sapat na yung sukat ni baby.
Yun lang sis. Tapos wait ako mag 10am tsaka ako nagra-rice. Ever since 1 cup lang ako lagi sa rice. Very rare lang lumagpas ng 1 cup. 2x a day lang ako kumakain ng rice.

sa generica meron po mura lang parang nasa 1200 ata tapos ang strips nasa 800.
Ako po as early as 2 months diagnosed ng Gestational Diabetes. Hi risk din kasi lahi talaga namin ang diabetes. Inadvice ako ng red rice instead ng white rice. Then wheat bread instead of white bread. 3x a day ang pag check ng sugar.
May nabibili po ng pang test ng blood sugar sa mga drug store tapos my blood strip po dun nyo lagay ung blood sample tapos ma read na po un 😊

meron po ako nung preggy ako, kakapanganak lng last month.. eto inadvise ng dietician.. kc ni refer ako ng OB sa endocrinologist tas ni refer din ako sa dietician..
7x a day monitoring ko kaya tinatamad ako sundin until now di pako nag ddiet. 29 weeks na.
Wala di ako nakikinig 🤣 chocolate is life. No diet and no monitoring din 😅
I was diagnosed din na may GDM. March 4 nagpacheck up ako pero supposed to be 14 ang due date ko. Inadviced sakin na magpaadmit na agad agad kasi 3cm na ako at may tendency daw (kadalasan) namamatay ang baby sa loob ng tummy pag may diabetes ang Nanay. Na-CS ako March 5. Awa ng Diyos safe kami pareho. Iwas iwas muna sa sweets. Para sa kapakanan din ng baby yan. May nakasabayan ako sa labor room same case ko but sadly, wala ng heartbeat baby niya. High risk pregnancy po pag may GDM ka. God bless!
