Should we put our a child in a preschool with a primary language we do not speak, ie. Mandarin?

I think it's a great idea. Lots of parents nowadays tend to neglect the importance of mother tongue and focus only on getting the primary English language right. Bilingualism is important in our society and should be emphasised more often so I'm all for it.

It is up to you, but it is of no disadvantage to your child to learn a new language. You could take this chance to pick up a new language when you're going through his homework as well.

thanks
