LYING IN OR HOSPITAL?

I asked the same question weeks before I went into labor, I gave birth to my first born son a week ago at a Lying In near my area, I'm on very tight budget, no work, no sss benefits nor Phil-health whatsoever the only documentation I have was my Voters Certificate, my prenatal results and lab results and ultrasounds. I'm 29 years old and the Lying In only accepts until 28 years old to do labor, on my case I was already 6cm dilated so they had no choice but to accept me which they did because I was in labor already and I couldn't keep up with the indescribable pain. My experience in the Lying In was okay, I had a normal delivery I had anesthesia for my stitches but no epidural whatsoever And I had to stay in the Lying In for just 24 hours. I only had to pay P50 pesos for the entire service, they even handed me a box of Promama to help me with my breastfeeding.
