Sweet Potato Ginger Soup

Hi!! Can is it safe to consume sweet potato ginger soup desert during early pregnancy? I've read mixed reviews abt sweet potato and ginger. Any advise?

Never know there is complications of eating sweet potatoes. So I ate lot during pregnancy second and third trimester. I think in moderation should be fine.
