Is it safe to apply Femite lotion on my nipples if I want my 2-year old to stop breastfeeding?

I am a little traditional in my thought and I would suggest that go the normal way. Start weaning yourself. Why even take a chance with these creams and all, even if they are safe. All that I have known is that weaning automatically happens because when it is time to wean your child is old enough to understand that mamma is saying no. So, he will with time on his own wean off with your guidance and distractions like food and play. :)

it is not going to harm your baby, but i am just thinking how your baby will react if you suddenly give baby that taste from soemthing that has been a source of comfort since birth. have you tried weaning your baby otherwise? maybe you can first try those methods? also, i would suggest you speak to your doctor to be absolutely sure

This lotion is safe if you are weaning your baby. But still consult your doctor to be sure as each person is different and so does a medicine affects each person differently. mom-actually.blogspot.in/2014/03/project-wean-off.html?m=1

ya dear it's perfectly fine to use femite lotion on your nipples as I have used it for the same purpose but just b careful to apply a single or double stroke only cause it's very strong in taste

I would suggest you do it gently and gradually. The product is not toxic at all. Im just concern of the traumatic effect on your baby. But you should consult first with your doctor

Yes, it's safe for the baby. My doctor advised me to use the same. It's bitter and doesn't smell.

If you use femite and want to remove it successfully, use olive oil.

Great
