Hello, In this condition it may still be contagious till one or two days after the infected person's fever has subsided. Roseola has an incubation period, that is, from time of exposure to the virus to symptom development from about five to 14 days. The individual remains contagious until one or two days after the fever subsides. The roseola rash may still be present, but individual is usually not contagious after the fever is gone.

Hi, Yes, it is contagious. One can get affected by the person who is having it within the first two days. It is a viral illness in a child. It can spread from one person or child to another through respiratory secretions or saliva.
