Quarantine during this time of pandemic made us closer to our family and give us the opportunity to bond more with our little bundle of joys. Let me share some activities that I am doing that made me even closer with my baby and hubby.
1. Story telling - although my baby is just 4 months old, I am reading her bedtime story every night. According to study, babies can still remember things that you read and teach when they become toddlers.
2. Sing and play - every morning I sing ABC and count numbers while giving some legs exercise to my baby. I don't use gadgets (I am not against it ?) I just prefer my voice so that my baby just focus on me with no distractions.
3. Cooking Meals- My hubby prefers home cooked food, so I ensure that I am making my and his tummy happy ?? by cooking the dish that he requested.
4. Quick Exercise - they said that we should love ourself, So true! So do not feel guilty if you need your "me time". Me, I do 20 mins exercise 3-5 times a week. It is not about losing weight, it's all about loving yourself and it makes you feel good.
5. Joke time anytime- me and my hubby ensure that we laugh together just by merely giving/asking simple (even corny ones) jokes. We also compliment each other just by simply saying how nice his hair was combed or how good is his smell. It helps and made us feel good too.
We are still far from normal because of this Pandemic, but let us still see the good things out of it. Enjoy your time with family and treasure each moment. I hope that I was able to lighten up your days Mommas.
