Leading dermatologists and beauticians recommend that in general, a basic facial, without the use of harsh chemicals, heat treatments and long-drawn out massages, is quite safe. In fact, if you’re looking for a relaxing and refreshing time, a gentle facial can make you feel and look great. However, it’s important to know that your skin absorbs all the chemicals that are applied to it; these can enter the bloodstream and ultimately your baby’s bloodstream too. Many salon treatments, to combat rashes or, skin discolorations are chemical based and may contain different combinations of benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, retinoids, etc. Though these may take care of your skin problems, pregnancy facials do have an impact on your baby’s health.

Yes, you can totally get a basic facial while you're pregnant. Facials are safe during pregnancy as long as you stick to a basic cleansing facial with no bells and whistles, such as electric currents, chemical peels or laser therapies.

Can, why not... Usually they will only do basic facial.. No machine involve. If not, either guasha or baguan style also can. Remove water retention on face and lymphatic notes release.

Yes - normal facials no laser or rf treatments. But some may feel uncomfortable lying down on their back for too long when they are getting big in their third trimester

Yes - just don't do lasers treatments etc and let your therapist know you're pregnant so they will be extra careful on products they use

Yes, beautician will also advise which treatments are suitable. If you’re concerned, just ask your beautician.

Sure! But I'll give some special treatment a miss. Let your therapist know and they will recommend accordingly
