Yogurt for 7.5months old infant
Hello all, please intro what is good and suitable for 7.5months old infant. TIA!
Gave yoghurt melt
Ensure no sugar. Get from redmart
I have yoghurt for baby.
If you can't find fage, you can go for others maybe like chobani.. most importantly just look for whole milk/full fat yogurt and no added sugars. Greek style yogurt and greek yogurt are 2 different types too.. at this age, best to go for plain greek yogurt, don't get those flavoured ones. Just serve it plain, or with chopped fruits.Read more
Hey! I'm giving fage greek yogurt, specifically cause it's full fat and doesn't have any added sugars..
Redmart, ntuc finest! Sometimes I add in chopped fruits like raspberries, wolfberries, plum. Or even organic peanut butter, cause they can't take PB on it's own. Otherwise I'll use it as a dip too, for carrot or cucumber sticks.
Hi I didn't gave yogurt in cup kind but I gave yogurt melts.
- Hello mummies, please share with me what's the estimated portion of your 9-10mths LO eating for BF, lunch and dinner. What is the food you served? Fruits you give every meal or give during snack time? TIA ??
Hey! My baby is 9 months plus.. she will have 2 meals for now.. breakfast + lunch.. for breakfast its really random, depends what we have at home.. Eg yogurt with fruits, scrambled eggs with spinach, toast with avocado. Lunch recently we will have porridge/pasta/noodles. For porridge I normally cook 1 tablespoon of rice with other ingredients. She usually eats at least half.. I will serve with fruits as well for lunch.. Because my daughter doesn't eat too much at each meal, I will start serving 3 meals soon! I don't encourage snacking because I don't want her to have the habit when she grows older..Pon Lim
- LO coming 9mths. I would like to intro egg yolk. What is the recommended serving for 1st time consumption? What are the common allergic reaction that no need medical attention? If LO has rashes on eyes or red patches on skin, can give telfast? TIA ?? for sharing!
Rashes (mild), mild diarrhoea During the first try, give only a tiny bit of fully cooked egg yolk. Then if there’s no reaction, you can give a little more during the next meal. The severe reaction usually doesn’t come the first time. It comes the second time onwards, so look out for that. If there’s mild reaction, stop giving the food. Keep baby hydrated (if there’s diarrhoea). Try again in a tiny amount maybe about a week later. (Don’t intro other new foods). If you keep giving tiny amounts, baby should hopefully build a tolerance. But if the reaction is more serious, (eye swelling, breathing difficulties, severe diarrhoea and unable to hydrate well, severe rashes, go to the hospital. I wouldn’t self medicate:)Pon Lim
After 6 months, nutrition from bm becomes not enough for baby. Best to start:) Also, they start becoming picky wih food after 18 months, so it’s good to introduce many different foods before then to help your LO become accustomed with different tastes and texturesAnonymous
