My LO is 3 weeks old weighing 3.7kg. I am looking for affordable carrier that can be used from 1st month to at least 1 years old. Dont really like infant insert as my LO perspire a lot. Kindly recommend any carrier that is suitable for newborns without infant insert if possible. I am actually incline to buy ergo baby 360 cool air mesh carrier but my LO is 3.7kg and according to ergobaby website, they require LO to be at least 4 months old in order to remove the infant insert. Heard KTan carrier is good for newborn but not much reviews.

I've been using my K'tan everyday at home for my now 6 weeks old. It's not so warm, easy to use and dries fast after washing. I did read about the short lifespan, that it may be less supportive when baby is past 6-8kg. But I think the $40+ that i paid for the preloved K'tan has been well spent! I use it for several hours everyday! It's tricky to get the correct size though. I think the sizing chart tends to be an over estimation, which would lead to baby being too low. Generally me and my other mummy friends wear XS or S. Agree that Ergo 360 won't be suitable. It would be warm for baby with the infant insert. I second Lillebaby. I have used it to wear my gal since she was two months old. Mine is also the airflow series as I wanted the mesh material for the airiness.bit doesn't need to have an infant insert. You can adjust the seating from wide to narrow seat to accommodate baby age. It is also not as expensive as many of those other brands like Tula or Ergobaby. I believe the airflow series is about $160 these days. What I also like about Lillebaby is that the waist support is good with a thick strap. There is a pocket in front to stuff things like baby hanky or even your hp. There is a hood to cover up baby when he is sleeping or when the sunlight is too strong. You can try it out at takashimya or isetan.

I'm using ergo 360 when baby is one month old. She's too big for the sling and seems uncomfortable when I carried her in it. I did use the ergo infant insert but just the seat because baby perspire a lot too. I got the idea from YouTube which use a roll up blanket as a seat if you don't have the infant insert. I tried both. The idea is to get baby elevated so that her neck and head is supported by the ergo head rest. It works for me though.

It is not recommended to use the rolled towel hack. Especially for young infants for safety reasons. "Infant inserts, opposed to a rolled blanket, are designed to both boost the child in the carrier and provide essential side support to keep them from slumping over in the too-big body panel. Using a rolled blanket does not provide the necessary side support for a young infant." "The big safety concern with newborns, and really all infants, is that they will slump in a baby sling, compromising

ktan is good! I used it when my girl is below 3 months. I bought ktan breeze. it's very easy to wear, don't need tie here tie there. going out with lo is also easier compare to tula with insert. I love ktan but my girl out grow it alr. 😅

Ktan is good for newborn but baby will outgrow before 6 months. I actually use the ergo baby with mesh and infant insert. I used the infant insert for 3 months but stopped as my baby can hold her head very well.

You can try lillebaby airflow. It's also a mesh carrier and the seat can be adjusted for new born without the need for infant seat. Go try it out at taka.

I heard Manduca is not bad
