I am also very confused over which type of milk is best. Found this article which is very informative and helpful in helping to understand all the terms used. The general guide suggested by the website for milk suitable for children are: - Whole milk (not reconstituted). - Pasteurized. Not double pasteurized or UHT. - Non homogenized. - From grass-fed cows, failing that, pasture-raised cows (not grain fed or slop fed, although no company will include that information on the label anyway). - Hormone free - Antibiotic free http://singaporebaby.com/cows-milk-singapore-truth-exposed/#sthash.IleMwdXS.dpuf They also have a great article on the different brands of milk in Singapore: http://singaporebaby.com/milk-brands-singapore-every-parent-needs-know/

I as a kid and now also have pasteurised milk only. Well some say pasteurisation destroys most of the natural nutrients of raw milk but at the same time it is also shown that raw milk has an added risk of formidable pathogens causing illness and other diseases. So I prefer to steer clear of any sort of health risks even if I have to loose a little nutritional value.

I personally like the taste of UHT milk, when I was a kid, whenever my parents bought pasteurized milk, I would absolutely hate the taste of it. Although I have heard that UHT milk is not good for kids! Here's a website on the differences between the types of milk: http://www.milkunleashed.com/shelf-safe-milk/aseptic-packaging-uht-milk.html

I would opt for pasteurized, however i think this might be because of what was introduced to me growing up and i prefer to opt for the one I'm familiar with. Here is a great article on what the difference is: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/22/pasteurized-homogenized-milk_n_5606168.html

Personally, I like the taste of pasteurized milk. I guess it's just a matter of preference. Research shows only very slight differences in the nutritional values of pasteurized and unpasteurized milk, anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raw_milk#Raw_vs._pasteurized_debate

Definitely not raw milk, I'd go with pasteurised milk. It is the only kind that I am unfortunately familiar with (need to read more on this).

Pasteurized it is. Homogenized is less preferred for kids. Else you can go for raw cow milk

Pasteurized would be the preferred one.
