Any parents here with children taking singulair? My 10 months old baby got bronchitis twice and PD wants to start him on this western "lung tonics" singulair. But I read article lately about side effect of singulair .. Not sure if it is true? http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2016-09-12/parents-say-they-got-no-warnings-about-singulair/7835924

Hi my baby has not taken singularity before but my Niece has taken. For a period of time think a few months she was taking constantly because and she also keep getting sick but she was already older then not believe 1yo. As with any western medicine I always think it is not good to take long term. Imagine the burden on the liver when medicine is given to a baby since young. I suggest you get a second opinion.maybe you can try to visit Dr Jenny Tang from Sbcc gleneagles? She specializes in respiratory and sleep disorders. Did she catch the virus from IFC or someone in the family by the way? Babies who catch bronchitis too often are at higher risk of getting asthma later on btw. Perhaps you can also bring her to Yu Guo massage at Kembangan. I have read good reviews of their baby massage. Will not suggest she takes singular now
