Any parents brought their child for flu vaccination, is it really good for the baby? My lo is 8 mths old, not sure should I give him flu vaccination as he goes IFC since 4 mths old. Although he does not get flu before.

I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to babies and vaccinations. Best to give baby a fighting chance against the flu, even if he has not gotten one yet. I read that the influenza virus mutates constantly so you'll never know when a particular strain will hit your baby hard. Children who are 6 months to 8-years-old would require 2 doses of the vaccine. For first timers, the second dose needs to be given a month after the first one. Here's a very informative article about the flu vaccination and the various benefits, concerns and side effects: http://sg.theasianparent.com/flu-vaccine-side-effects/
