Parents, are you for or against signing your children up for a handful of activities or extracurriculars? Does it put too much pressure on kids? Or is it good for them to juggle multiple activities and responsibilities during their development?

I think it's ok to let them try a lot of things (make sure the schedule isn't tiring though) just to see which one your child will actually take to. Then cut out the ones your child doesn't really enjoy or isn't passionate about.

I think it's okay too, but this has to be made with the kid's consent. It will be too much if we just sign them up for activities they aren't really fond of. This just makes the activity a burden, instead of a learning opportunity.
