Transfer milk from bag to bag

Hi, is it ok to transfer bm from one storage bag to another? Reason being I marked the first bag w permanent marker and didn’t want to contaminate the bm hence I poured the bm from the first bag to a new storage bag.

Thts ok .. nothing happens , make sure ur hands are clean while doing it also outside the package ..

Yes, it’s ok. Just sanitise your hands, do it fast and keep the temperature constant.

what do u mean contaminate the bm? the marker is used on the outside of the bag right?

Yes. But I read that the ink might penetrate the plastic. Just want to be on the safe side.

Ensure your hands are clean, pour quickly and chill the milk. Should be okay:)
