Husband fully handle baby during confinement

Is it ok and normal to let husband and MIL fully handle baby during your confinement esp when you go thru csect and still in pain even after 3 weeks. I feel like im using them altho i can still walk and move around, despite the random pains. I feel so bad for my husband who already started working and always have to take care of baby right from when he’s back from work to late night and early morning. I feel like im being selfish for sleeping thru the night and resting.

its better than you are resting than to injure ur wounds and it gets worse later. maybe u can help with simple washing of bottles if u can, give some massage and praise ur husband.. believe this will let him know u appreciate him. soon u will be the caretaker of baby

Explain yourself to him. Talk to him. Share your thoughts. Maybe you can start with washing the bottles and baby’s laundry? It’s not going to last forever, you will eventually be as involved as they are. Take rest now.
