eat steak
Is it ok to eat steak (well done) during pregnancy?
Hi mommies. Thank you in advance sa sasagot #10weeks
Read moreYes, as long as it's well cooked. Undercooked meat (and poultry) can harbour bacteria like E. coli, trichinella, and salmonella (all of which can cause food poisoning) or cause toxoplasmosis. Make sure that there's no trace of pink or blood in your meat, especially with poultry, pork, sausages and minced meat, including burgers.
Read moreYes well done can! There was once my order for steak came wrongly (it was done in medium!) but I just ate it cos I was so hungry and waited long for it. Asked my gynae about it and he said it’s fine since I ate it only once. If constantly then cannot 😅
Well done is ok. It is rich is iron. So good to eat. But if u are in third trimester, maybe you will want to eat in moderation if it feels harder to digest to your stomach.
well done should be fine~ while having my first one, i ate steak at medium all the time, he came out fine too. but best to consult with gynae.
it is... but steak is meant to be medium rare 😍 so for me, I'll just wait until I've given birth and maybe done breastfeeding.
Yes, but it should be a well done, not even medium. And a well done steak is not as tasty, sigh :(
Not for me, but it’s ok to eat beef cos it gives you a lot of iron which is good for baby.
