Baby super hard to put to bed

Is it normal to get impatient with our babies? My baby has suddenly become so so tough to put to bed recently… like keep crying everytime i try to put down for nap, just now bedtime cry more than 1 hour and I just feel so frustrated ): & then after that my toddler comes home and doesnt listen and it gets me even more angry… just whole day super frustrating. In the middle of the night after feed also takes 1 hour to coax back to sleep suddenly..

Hi mama! I hear you 😭😭😭 my kid struggles so much with sleep, and is otherwise a super calm baby who thrives in everything else 🤣 Just dropping everything I tried so you might find something new!! 1. Check if wake window is too long and baby is overtired. Overtired baby is fussy at sleep 2. Check if wake window is too short and sleep pressure is insufficient. Undertired baby also fussy at sleep 3. Use white noise machine, same sound every time 4. Dim lights only for night feeds 5. No talking / interacting w baby when putting them to sleep 6. Have a consistent routine (mine's shower > milk > book > sleep). 7. Try different movements. My baby LOVES lunges 😭 8. Check whether they are in a leap! Usually 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 months - they gain significant skills so their brains are just so overwhelmed. Should just last a couple of weeks :) 9. Check whether sleep regression, usually 4, 9, 15-24 months if I'm not wrong 10. Check whether need to burp - especially if baby also keeps rubbing their head against you 11. They might just prefer contact naps right now (but will outgrow it 🥹) 12. Check whether teething - might just be experiencing a lot of pain so want comfort 13. Depending on age, might be separation anxiety. Play a lot more peekaboo and give reassurance regularly Everytime my baby goes through such a phase I really regret not doing sleep training (though I don't believe in it hahaha) but I just remember that it will pass 🙏 and it always does!!!
