Hep-B vaccination
Is it necessary for babies to get Hep-B vaccinations?
In Singapore, it’s compulsory. Hepatitis can cause pain and poor liver function in the acute phase. In rare situations, there is liver failure and baby can die. In the long run, it can lead to liver hardening (cirrhosis), liver damage/failure and even cancer. If you can vaccinate against it, why not?
