My parents-in-law have been bugging me to have a 2nd child. I have told them I would like to wait for a little while long. How should I get them off my shoulders?

Having a child is entirely your decision and one that needs careful deliberation. Therefore, this decision should rest entirely on your and your husband's shoulder. However, if your in-laws are insisting on an issue they should not be deciding for you, ask your husband to speak with them. Let him take the lead. Make them understand that you are not ready for a new member in the family - physically, psychologically and financially (if that's the case).
