My in-laws don't agree with sending my kids to playschool at an early age. I want to convince them that playschools aren't just for fun but they promote good social skills as well. Do you know any good playschools in Manila (preferably in the Makati area) that they might like? Thanks!

I found a playschool with low student-teacher ratio that can be suited for your kids. Toddlers Teachers Inc in Makati offers curriculum that integrates learning through play. They offer quality education to children from 0-5 years old. They have classes from infant, toddler, extended day and daycare programs and other special classes which you might want to explore. They accommodate personal tours to families during weekday before 4:00 pm. You just have to call them for a schedule. Below is their website for further details: http://www.toddlersandteachers.com/index.htm

My sister is a Kindermusik teacher - in San Juan though - so that's where my daughter started playschool when she was 5-6 months old. I swear, after the first session she started "talking" by making sounds! It really has helped with her social skills. We recently attended a trial class at Kindermusik BGC (http://www.teacherjeannieandcompany.com/) and my daughter kept hugging kids towards the end of class -- these are kids she's just met!)
