My child is having a running nose and I have been prescribed a nasal medicine by the doctor. However her nose is still very blocked and she seem to have difficulty breathing when she sleeps. Any ways to resolve this problem?

Have you tried using a nasal aspirator? You can purchase one easily from NTUC or Kiddy Palace. I'm using the Pigeon Nasal Aspirator. I have both kinds, the bulb and tube. If her nose is runny, it should be easier to use the tube type to collect mucus. Hold up the bottle to her nose and suck gently through the mouth piece. Just to add on, I use Sterimar Nasal Baby Spray just before using the nasal aspirator as it especially helps with dry/hard mucus. I got mine from KK Hospital
