My baby is 14mo. He will always cry when relatives that he hardly see want to carry him. How to overcome this?

This is perfectly normal for young baby. He or she is experiencing separation anxiety. However they will outgrow this shyness when they are much older. Meanwhile please do not force them to accept to be carried or touch by strangers or friends that they do not want to. Remember not to comment in front of strangers that your kid is just shy, as this will hurt their feelings.

it's normal. i wouldn't force lo to do anything. if lo is uncomfortable then let it be.
